We had a nice Aussie couple visit the beautiful rice terraces in Takashima on the shores of Lake Biwa.
They really enjoyed communicating with the local people. They had a great time cycling, visiting local shops and making Japanese sweets with a local lady (obaachan). They said "this is what we were really looking forward to; to feel the real life of people here in Japan on a private, exclusive tour!"
